Trump fails his latest attempt to nullify the election results

The US Supreme Court on Monday rejected the final appeal of former President Donald Trump over the results of the 2020 presidential election, which was won by Democrat Joe Biden.

The resolution also refused to consider a lawsuit filed by Trump alleging that election officials in Wisconsin (which is controlled by Republicans) violated the constitution by expanding absentee voting amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Trump tried to turn the tables in his favor in Wisconsin by eliminating more than 221,000 “illegal” votes in Dan and Milwaukee counties.

And Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers had previously approved the results of the vote, confirming Biden’s victory over Trump by more than 20,000 votes in the state.
