Rescue of a whale stuck near a beach in the Dominican Republic

Rescue of a 3-meter-long flying whale near Bavaro Beach in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. The footage shows a group of local residents and rescue workers helping the animal bypass the coral reefs and return to the open water. And according to the Dominican Republic’s National Aquarium, the rescue team found the animal dehydrated. They took samples of his blood, moistened him with serum and fed him with the help of an stomach tube. The National Aquarium reported on its official Instagram page that the whale “responded well to all the exercises that were conducted”.
