Today, Sunday, Italy recorded 20,765 cases and 207 new deaths from the Corona virus, which causes the “Covid-19” infection, which represents a decline for both indicators, amid a continuous increase in active cases.
The Italian Ministry of Health stated, in a new statistic, that the number of registered infections with the emerging corona virus “Covid-19” in Italy during the past 24 hours increased by 20765, bringing the general number to the level of 3067486.
This comes after the index of new infections with the Coronavirus on March 3 reached 20,884 cases, on March 4, 22865, on March 5, 24036 cases, and on March 6, 23,641.
At the same time, the number of active injuries in Italy is constantly increasing, and so far, it stands at 472,862 cases, compared with 465812 yesterday, Saturday.
The Ministry of Health added that it had detected 207 deaths from the disease within a day, bringing the number of pandemic victims in the country to 99,785 cases.
And the daily death index from the Corona virus in Italy on March 3 reached 347 cases, on March 4, 339, on March 5, 297 cases, and on March 6, 307 cases.
The Ministry reported that the number of people recovering from the disease rose to 2494,839 people, after 13,467 new cures were monitored.
Italy is the eighth country in the world in terms of the outcome of infection with the Coronavirus, and the sixth in terms of the number of deaths due to the pandemic.
The government previously extended the state of health emergency to contain the Coronavirus pandemic in the country until the end of April.
