For some strange reason … two twins were forced to marry each other in Thailand

A Thai family forced their 5-year-old twin daughter and daughter to marry each other, in a public Buddhist ceremony, because they believed they were lovers in a previous life.

According to the British newspaper “The Sun”, the boy and his sister got married inside their home in a lavish wedding in Nakhon Si Thammarat, Thailand, on March 4.

The 31-year-old father and the 30-year-old mother believe that if the twins do not marry at the earliest opportunity, it exposes them to bad luck in the future. The father of the twins explained, “We believe that if I have twins of a different sex, they should marry each other, otherwise one of them will get sick later in their lives,” adding: “We do this only to protect and preserve the safety of our children .. We do not want them to get sick.” And there is nothing to lose if we follow this belief. ”
For her part, the mother said: “I feel very lucky to have twins, but I am concerned that there is something troubling them in their previous lives.” The twins have a successful and healthy life without diseases. ”

Friends and family attended the wedding, in which a Buddhist monk appeared to chant blessings during unnatural weddings, and during the traditional ceremony, relatives offered a dowry to the two children, in line with prevailing cultural customs.

It is worth noting that despite the extravagant wedding ceremony, the marriage of the twins was not valid and was only organized for ceremonial purposes.

It is reported that some Buddhists believe that “male and female” twins share “karma” because they were once lovers whose relationship ended before marriage, and they are born again to not settle the old debts owed in the relationship.
