Cyber expert Zach Duffman confirmed that the SuperVPN application is spyware and steals personal data, stressing the need to remove it immediately.
According to Forbes magazine, quoting the expert, this app has been downloaded more than 100 million times. Personal data, names, email addresses, payment details and even device data are sold on hacking forums, which were obtained through three spyware SuperVPN, GeckoVPN and ChatVP.
“The leak included detailed information on 21 million users, including names, email addresses, payment details, and even device information,” the online expert said.
Duffman urged that you download proven software and not use free VPN services.
