British Health Minister Mitt Hincock said that the British government plans to allow citizens to travel within the country next summer, adding that travel abroad would be possible.

“I hope we can travel in the British Isles as soon as we have a chance to lift the restrictions. And vaccination will help us with that,” he said.

Hinkcock and Prime Minister Boris Johnson had previously announced that it was too early to consider going abroad.

The government plans to take a decision on the dates for resuming foreign tourism, not before May 17th, in case the epidemic situation improves.

On January 4, a complete national lockdown took effect in Britain, which is the third since the beginning of the Corona epidemic. On February 22, Johnson published a plan to gradually ease the restrictions imposed, which provides for the opening of schools on March 8, and the opening of non-food stores and balconies of restaurants, salons, museums, offices and zoos, starting from April 12th. On the same day, the government is supposed to make a decision on domestic tourism.
