In a horrific incident, a 35-year-old man killed his 30-year-old wife in Nalasubara district in Mumbai, India, after she refused to give him money to buy alcohol.
According to local reports, the accused, Rupesh Shiamrao Moore, is a resident of Nalasubara Shirdi Nagar, under the jurisdiction of Tulling Police Station. He is a rickshaw driver, he married Vanita 8 years ago, and the couple often quarrels about his alcohol habit.
On Wednesday, Moore asked his wife, Vanita, to give him some cash to buy liquor. When she refused, an argument broke out between them, and in a fit of anger, the husband slaughtered his wife with a knife and then hit her in the head with a hammer, which led to her death, according to a report by the Hindustan Times.
Before fleeing from the scene of the crime, the husband Robesh Moore called one of his neighbors and informed him that he had killed his wife. The neighbor informed the police, who rushed to the scene of the crime and arrested the perpetrator and seized the victim’s body for an autopsy, and an investigation was opened.
