US State Department: Washington welcomes the European countries’ withdrawal of a proposal to rebuke Iran at the International Atomic Energy Agency
A US State Department statement said today, Thursday, that the United States welcomed the European countries’ withdrawal of a proposal to reprimand Iran at the International Atomic Energy Agency.
The statement pointed out that the United States “welcomes the results of the meeting of the Board of Governors of the International Atomic Energy Agency with regard to Iran,” noting that “Britain, France and Germany’s decision on Iran in the International Atomic Energy Agency came with the support of Washington.”
He pointed out that Washington “looks with great interest to Iran’s desire to participate in a concrete negotiation process.”
