Poll: 55% of Republican convention participants will vote for Trump in the primaries

Former US President Donald Trump won a poll conducted by the Conservative Political Action Conference, in which 55% of respondents said they would vote for him in the virtual primaries of 2024.
In the poll that showed Trump’s control of the Republican Party, 21% said they would vote for Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, and 4% said they would vote for South Dakota Gov. Christy Noem.

About 7 in 10 of those surveyed said they would like to see Trump run for president in 2024, compared to 15% who said they did not want to and 17% said they were not sure of their will.

95% said they want the Republican Party to continue Trump’s agenda and policies, 3% said the Republican Party should change its policy, and 2% said they are not sure.

The poll also recorded 97% approval of Trump’s job performance.
