The Hebrew newspaper “Haaretz” reported that the American company, Planet Labs, took pictures showing another secret site in Israel, after it published footage documenting new large-scale construction work at the Dimona nuclear site.
The newspaper pointed out that the new high-quality footage shows an area west of Beit Shemesh, which, according to Israeli maps, is considered an open area, despite the announcement of a no-fly zone over it.
The U.S. firm that provided satellite imagery of the Israeli nuke facility photographed another sensitive site.

According to numerous foreign reports, the Israeli Air Force base “Knaf-2” is located in this area.
Global Security reported that this base includes three batteries of “Jericho” strategic missiles.
“Haaretz” indicated that it is not clear which party requested the American company to photograph this place and whether Planet Labs will continue to publish footage of secret locations in Israel.
The footage was released thanks to a decree issued by former US President Donald Trump that allowed US companies to take high-quality photos of sites in Israel.
