Two young Frenchmen win a challenge against Macron

Two famous French youths won on YouTube in a challenge launched by President Emmanuel Macron, and achieved 10 million views in a video they filmed.

Macron addressed a challenge to the two young McFly and Carlito, who are followed by about 6 million people, that if they filmed a video about preventive measures to confront the Corona virus and achieved 10 million views, he would shoot with them an entertainment competition at the Elysee Palace.

On Wednesday, the two young men were able to achieve this number of views on a funny song entitled “I Remember”, which they divorced last Sunday.

Macron challenged the two young men, McClay and Carlito, who have more than six million YouTube subscribers, to make a video about the need to wear masks, disinfect hands and maintain a safe distance to slow the spread of the Coronavirus.

As an incentive, he promised them to film their next project at the Elysee Palace if the video reached 10 million views.

With more than 11 million views on Wednesday, the duo easily won the challenge with a song mocking people who are ignoring the rules of social distancing in the face of the spread of Corona.

In the song, the “YouTube” stars, the character of two young men who do not respect the preventive measures against Corona, are subjected to a financial fine imposed on them by the police for not wearing the medical mask at the end of the video.

The song contained messages motivating the French to respect these measures.

France is witnessing an increase in the number of infections with the Coronavirus, as it exceeded three million cases, while the number of deaths reached 85,000, according to the latest statistics.
