An earthquake measuring 5.3 magnitude hits Alaska, USA

The US Geological Survey reported that a seismic monitoring center recorded a magnitude 5.3 earthquake in Alaska, in the United States.
The authority indicated that “the earthquake occurred this evening, Saturday, and its center was located at a depth of more than 42 km under the surface of the earth.”

No information was reported about possible losses and damage, as well as the risk of a “tsunami”.
