In her upcoming documentary, entitled “Demi Lovato: Dancing With the Devil” singer, songwriter, and actress Demi Lovato has revealed some major details about her 2018 overdose, where she almost died, saying that she suffered three strokes and a heart attack.

The tell-all documentary is set to premiere on YouTube on March 23, and a trailer for it was released on February 17, featuring a snippet of Lovato’s new song of the same name.

In 2018, Lovato was found, completely unconscious in her residence in LA after an overdose, which happened months after she relapsed.

She then spent three weeks in a hospital before heading off to rehab and a sober living facility for multiple months.

“I had three strokes,” she revealed in the trailer, “I had a heart attack. The doctors said that I had 5-10 more minutes.”

The trailer also features an emotional scene of Lovato on a hospital bed, hooked to an IV, along with her deeply worried mother, Dianna De La Garza.

“I’ve had so much to say over the past two years wanting to set the record straight about what it was that happened,” Lovato added in the trailer, “I’ve had a lot of lives. Like my cat, you know? I’m on my ninth life.”
