Our correspondent reported that the Syrian prisoner Dhiab Kahmuz, who is covered by the exchange deal between Israel and Syria, with Russian mediation, is refusing to deport him from his village, while the condition of social service for the prisoner, Nihal Al-Maqt, has been dropped.

“A delegation from the Israeli Ministry of Justice came to our house and informed us of dropping the compulsory social service on behalf of my sister Nihal Al-Maqt,” said Sidqi Al-Maqt, the brother of Nihal, in an interview with RT.

“The Israeli side informed the family that the release of Nihal was part of humanitarian efforts mediated by a friendly country,” he added.

On the other hand, our correspondent said that the prisoner Dhiab Kahmuz, who is from the town of Ghajar in the occupied Syrian Golan, refuses the condition of deportation from his village.

The correspondent quoted sources from inside prisons as saying that “until half past one o’clock there were negotiations with the Israeli side with the prisoner Qahmuz in order to release him on condition of deportation, and he refused this condition.”

Qahmuz has been sentenced to 14 years, of which he has spent 4 so far, and it is expected that an Israeli girl, who accidentally entered Syria, will be released from the Syrian side.
