The French Foreign Ministry announced today, Wednesday, that the European powers will hold talks with US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken on Iran on Thursday.
This comes as Blinken announced yesterday that the path to diplomacy is now open with Iran, but Tehran is still far from fulfilling its pledges.
The International Atomic Energy Agency announced that Tehran had notified it of suspending its voluntary measures under the nuclear agreement, including the additional protocol, as of February 23.
The agency said its director, Rafael Grossi, suggested traveling to Iran to find a solution that would allow the agency to continue its basic oversight activities.
