Qatar and Turkey called on the United States and Iran to engage in resolving the Iranian nuclear file crisis and the sanctions imposed on Tehran through diplomatic means.

This came during a joint press conference by the Qatari Foreign Minister Sheikh Muhammad bin Abdulrahman Al Thani and the Turkish Mevlüt Çavuşolu after their meeting on Thursday in Doha.

A university professor and Qatari political analyst, Ali Al-Hail, said in an interview with the “Around the World” program in this regard:

“The Qatari-Turkish invitation to Iran and the United States of America now comes as an extension of the Qatari call nearly three weeks ago, as the State of Qatar and the Turkish government possess all the capabilities and all the ingredients to call for a positive dialogue between Iran and the United States.

Al-Hail believes that both countries received positive signals from the Biden administration and Iran to launch such an invitation, and it did not come out of thin air, and the American and Iranian sides now have a natural willingness to engage in a constructive positive dialogue to re-work the Iranian nuclear agreement, after the departure of President Trump. From the tenure of the American presidency.

Al-Hail believes that “there are positive American indications that a return to the nuclear agreement is very likely, and that the State of Qatar is keen on security in the Gulf region, because any problems that occur between Iran and America will drag the region into a devastating war with no consequences, and we do not want that.” .
