Ghriba stuffed with cream

Do you know that Gharbia is very delicious when you fill it with cream? Here is a recipe for preparing it on the Levantine way

For Ghariba with cream filling
* Ingredients:

* For the filling
Half a cup of cream (liquid or whipping cream)
Half a cup of fresh cream
– A quarter cup of pistachios, without the skin

For the Ghriba dough:
Two cups of flour
– 1/4 cup of chicken flour (fine semolina)
– A cup of butter, at room temperature, or of margarine intended for sweets as desired
1 cup of caster sugar
Half a teaspoon of vanilla

*How to prepare:
In a bowl, put the butter and sugar and knead until the butter melts. We add the sifted chicken flour and vanilla. Knead by hand until we have a soft but coherent dough. We put it in the refrigerator for an hour.
Prepare the filling by mixing fresh cream and cream well.
Add half of the amount of pistachios, after slicing roughly.
Take the dough out of the refrigerator and divide it into walnut-sized balls. We spread the dough on the palm of the hand and fill it with a tablespoon of cream. We seal it well and curl it.

In the tart pan, put 3 pistachios at the bottom of the mold. Spread the stuffed dough and turn it into a non-stick tray greased with oil.
– We bake the tray in an oven at a low temperature until the surface of the kernels takes a golden color and the tray comes out of the oven.

* Submission
– After the Ghriba kernels have cooled, serve it decorated with pistachios to taste.
