Suspicions about the transfer of British scientists military technology to China!

The Times reported, citing a source, that British authorities are investigating nearly 200 scientists suspected of unintentionally transferring military technology to China.

The British newspaper reported that the talk is about a violation of strict export laws aimed at protecting intellectual property and transferring research data in the field of advanced military technologies, including those related to aircraft and missile design, and cyber weapons.

Several of the scholars under investigation are suspected of inadvertently breaking the law when doing business with Chinese companies.

According to the source, the British government is preparing to send notifications in particular to suspects working in more than 12 universities.

“In the near future, we may see dozens of scientists in the courts … and if they lead to litigation of up to ten percent of the cases, about 20 scientists will be sent to prison to help the Chinese create superweapons,” the source said.

He also pointed out that exporters of military products and those who transfer military technologies included in the export control order of 2008, need a license to do so, and violators could face up to ten years in prison.
