Biden: Working with China is in the interest of the United States

US President Joe Biden said, during a speech at the State Department, that “China has attacked human rights, as well as intellectual rights,” but stressed his country’s readiness to work with Beijing, saying that “this is in the interest of the United States.”

Biden stressed that his country “will compete with China from a position of strength, and better, through internal construction, working with allies and partners, and by re-renewing the American role in international institutions, to establish credibility and moral authority.”
