Emma Roberts pays tribute to aunt Julia Roberts

Emma Roberts has paid tribute to her aunt Julia Roberts as the new Pretty Woman collection ambassador for Fred jewelry.

The actress, 29, announced her new role on Instagram, where she posted video of the new ad campaign set to the catchy track, Oh, Pretty Woman by Roy Orbison.

Emma begins the video walking around the sunlit balcony of a Los Angeles building in a white robe, before trying on an array of the dazzling jewelry.

The beautiful pieces range from icy, heart-themed necklaces adorned with rubellites, rings, and teardrop earrings.

Emma exudes confidence as she tries on the many beautiful pieces, reciting the phrase, ‘Your way, your love.’

Though she was not seen trying it on, on display was the ‘Pretty Woman Unconditional Necklace’, a beautiful heart necklace made of white gold, diamonds, rubellites.

The necklace was inspired by the dazzling piece famously worn by Julia in the film, and given to her by her love interest Edward Lewis (Richard Gere).

‘FRED is celebrating love by dedicating a major collection of jewellery and high jewellery to it: Pretty Woman,’ reads a description of the necklace on Fred’s website.

‘Inspired by the iconic necklace created by the Maison and which featured in the eponymous film in 1990, the Pretty Woman collection has symbolised deep and endlessly renewed love ever since.

‘With its distinctive “heart within a heart” aesthetic, this bold and convertible high jewellery for everyday wear leverages exceptional know-how in the service of creativity.’

The 1990 rom-com stars Julia as prostitute Vivian Ward, who is initially hired by a wealthy businessman (Gere) before forming a real, romantic relationship with him.

Emma’s new role is not the first time she has paid tribute to her aunt’s famous film.

Back in 2012, she recreated her aunt’s iconic Rodeo Drive look as she wore a tiny white top, blue mini skirt, and thigh-high boots for Halloween.
