Turkey’s education ministry said it will allow private coaching centers to conduct face-to-face classes by the end of January, local daily Hurriyet has reported.

The ministry said students who are preparing for high school and university exams will be able to attend on-site lessons at these centers, provided they abide with certain COVID-19-related measures.

The use of masks during classes will be mandatory, as well as seating arrangements and other social distancing rules.
