I lost his hearing … wireless headphones exploded in a Chinese young man’s ear

Recently, it has become common to hear news of some cell phones exploding while using it or charging it, but with the advancement of technology, these events have evolved into the explosion of the Apple AirPods wireless headset in the ear of a Chinese young man while making a phone call.

According to the Chinese site “gizmochina” and the Chinese site Weibo, a 23-year-old Chinese man named Cheng Tang was exposed to a pair of Apple wireless headphones exploding in his ear while using it in a call he was making, during the month of May.

The Zhengzhou University Hospital issued a report indicating that the explosion caused injuries to Tang in his right ear, while the medical report indicated that he had a ruptured skin, chronic pain and hearing loss.

Although he received treatment and his condition improved, but on the second visit to the doctor, the young Chinese was suffering from bleeding and swelling in his ear, in addition to damage to the anterior cartilage of the right canal and the accumulation of blood in the tympanic cavity.
