Trump belongs to the UAE in his last presidential decree

Outgoing US President Donald Trump issued his last presidential decree, in which he exempted the UAE from a 10% tariff imposed on most aluminum imports from it in 2018.

Trump said that the two countries had reached a quota agreement that would restrict aluminum imports, noting that “the agreement was reached in light of the important security relationship between the two countries.”

He added, “The UAE joins Argentina, Australia, Canada and Mexico, which have also been exempted from aluminum tariffs.”

On Wednesday, Trump issued a presidential pardon list that includes a total amnesty for 73 people and a commutation of 70 others.

Among the most prominent figures pardoned by his former adviser Steve Bannon and former campaign official Elliot Broidy.

Earlier, CNN indicated that Trump’s legal advisers had warned him against issuing a pardon for himself and his family, and a number of his close advisers warned him not to grant an amnesty to anyone involved in the storming of Congress.
