Jane Sackey, spokeswoman for US President-elect Joe Biden, announced, Monday, that the next administration will not implement the decision issued by President Donald Trump to lift the ban imposed on travelers to the United States from Brazil and most European countries, starting next week.

In a tweet on “Twitter,” Saki, who will take over the duties of the White House spokesperson on Wednesday, said, “This is not the time to lift the restrictions imposed on international movements.”

Earlier Monday, US President Donald Trump lifted the travel ban imposed due to the Corona virus pandemic on Brazil and most European countries, as of January 26.
