Man City continues its awakening and tightens the screws on the lead duo

Manchester City lead to a four-point lead in the Premier League Soccer League soccer goal in a difficult 1-0 win over struggling Brighton & Hove Albion.

Fodin’s decisive touch before the halftime at Etihad Stadium was enough for City to win a fourth successive league win, but it was not easily achieved.

City had some chances to boost their lead, but goalkeeper Robert Sanchez and the goalkeeper saved Brighton, who ended the game hard.

The hosts could have defused the tension in stoppage time but substitute Raheem Sterling fired a penalty over the bar.

City advanced to the golden square with 32 points from 16 games, four points behind leaders Manchester United and a point behind defending champion Liverpool, and a match remains for Pep Guardiola’s team.
