The President of Portugal was infected with Corona virus

Lisbon – (Reuters):
The Portuguese presidency announced that President Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa has been infected with the Corona virus, even though he has not yet shown any symptoms.

And last Wednesday, the president’s office said that the results of the Corona virus tests that he underwent were negative, after he had contact with someone with the virus.

The 72-year-old president is seeking a second term in elections on January 24. He has a few presidential debates ahead of him.
