US Congressman, Republican Tom Reid, said that Republican members of the House of Representatives are preparing to put forward a resolution, Tuesday, to rebuke President Donald Trump for his role in the attack by his supporters on the Capitol Building, in Washington, DC, last Wednesday.
Tom Reid confirmed in an article in the “New York Times” that he would also work to find a way for Congress to prevent Trump from seeking any federal office in the future.
“I intend to join my colleagues in the House of Representatives in putting forward a reprimanding resolution on Tuesday, to ensure that accountability is achieved without delay for the events of January 6,” Reid wrote.
