Dubai – (East):
German Chancellor Angela Merkel has questioned the decision by social media platforms, including Twitter and Facebook, to close the accounts of US President Donald Trump, following his controversial posts.
Merkel believes that the legislative body should be responsible for laying the foundations for the government of these platforms, according to Steve Seibert, her spokesman, at a press conference in Berlin. Seibert said the chancellor considers closing the account of an elected president as a problem.
