British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has warned of the significant increase in the number of Coronavirus infections in Britain, stressing that hospitals are facing greater pressure than ever before.
Johnson said in a tweet on Twitter: “Our hospitals are under more pressure than at any time since the start of the outbreak, and infection rates continue to rise at an alarming level.”
Johnson added: “The launch of the vaccine gave us renewed hope, but it is important that we currently stay at home, protect the National Health Service, and save lives.”
