The Premier League have announced the dates and television schedule for fixtures in January, including the showdown between fierce rivals Liverpool and Man Utd.
Anfield plays host to the first clash between the sides in a year when they face off on the 17th of next month, with Sky Sports on broadcast duties in their prime slot on Super Sunday.
Tottenham and Man City are both in action on the same day, against Sheffield United and Crystal Palace respectively, in what could be an important afternoon in the title race.
United also feature among the Premier League’s first offerings of 2021, as their home tie against Aston Villa follows Everton vs West Ham on New Years’ Day.
Across the month there are a number of huge showdowns taking place, with Chelsea’s meeting with Man City at Stamford Bridge on January 3 the pick of matchweek 17.
Liverpool make the trip to Tottenham later on in January, amid a month where they also tackle Southampton, Burnley, West Ham and, of course, United.
Old foes Arsenal and United collide on the final weekend to end a potentially job-defining period for Mikel Arteta.
The Gunners boss will be expected to rack up some points to kick-start the new year, with home ties against Crystal Palace and Newcastle sandwiched between trips to West Brom and Southampton.
There is also a mouth-watering derby in the offing, as Fulham prepare for the visit of local rivals Chelsea midway through the month.
