Christian Louboutin Launches the Loubiworld Perfume Collection

The magical world of Christian Louboutin is about to get a whole new dimension. Ready to excite and thrill his loyal fans, is his launch of Loubiworld. Taking you on a thrilling journey through the imagination of Christian Louboutin himself, it is a fragrance collection like you’ve never seen before. Each of the seven perfumes is inspired by a personal memory, fantasy, or even a dream the designer has had. Those who are familiar with Christina Louboutin will know to expect something exciting and unique. The first thing that catches your eyes when it comes to Loubiworld is the eclectic bottles. Turning to his longtime friend Hélène Tran, an illustrator he met 30 years ago, she helped transform each of his ideas with a flacon. Featuring a lacquered red bottle, the crowning moment arrives with each fragrance having its own fantastical cap.

Up first is a crown of course. A woody oriental blend that brings together patchouli and tonka bean, it was created by perfumer Christophe Raynaud. Perfumer Marie Salamagne was in charge of Loubirouge. Looking to notes of cardamon, iris, and vanilla this bottle features a globe topped with an iconic Louboutin heel. Next is a crocodile for Loubicroc. Created by perfumer Daphné Bugey it is a spicy oriental that champions myrrh, cypriol, and sandalwood.  She also took charge of Loubiraj a leathery woody juice, Loubikiss a white floral that arrives with a skull cap, and Loubidoo which is a floral fruity scent represented by a lucky cat. For the final fragrance perfumer, Nicolas Beaulieu took on the rose blending it with blackcurrant and patchouli. It’s cap? A pineapple with red sole stilettos as the crown.
